ÉCOLE NATIONALE SUPÉRIEURE DES SCIENCES APPLIQUÉES ET DE TECHNOLOGIE

The aim of the multimedia and networks computing block release course is to enhance the skills of computer engineers who specialise in the converging fields of data technology, multimedia and communications with a view to developing new services relating to internet and multimedia applications.

schéma formation IMRAt the conclusion of the training course, the apprentices are computer engineers specialised in multimedia development:

  • sound and image technologies
  • application analysis
  • service design

They have the highly-developed knowledge of networks required to successfully convert multimedia data throughout the public domain.

Training course schedule

Skillsets are developed within 5 core areas: computing, multimedia, networks, mathematics and social sciences, applications and services. These areas of focus combine to cover the computer development needs associated with multimedia and networks.

Core training course focus

ENSSAT IMR engineers are skilled operators of the methods and tools used in software engineering, network and communication technologies, images and multimedia. They are capable of managing projects in the following fields:

  • the design and development of multimedia applications: image processing and CGI, virtual reality, Rich Media, access services and content adaptation;
  • technologies, protocols, security measures and interoperability relating to communication networks;
  • standards, encryption technologies, condensing and describing of multimedia content as well as the specifics of multimedia data transmission.

Software engineering is the cornerstone of the training course. It provides the skillsets required to develop successfully the complex systems used in the fields of imaging and networks.
